Charalampos Giannikopoulos
Charalampos Giannikopoulos is the founder of DCarbon, the leading sustainability consultancy firm in Greece, whose goal is to provide top-quality services and strengthen values in the real-estate sector in the framework of climate change and ESG challenges. He has more than 15 years of experience in sustainable real estate development, across a series of sustainability aspects, including climate change adpataion, decarbonization, circular economy, and green finance.
With extensive experience in participating in multi-disciplinary teams at more than 100 projects, Charalampos has been involved in prominent commercial, infrastructure, industrial and educational projects in the region, including management of the vast majority of the LEED projects in Greece, as well as ESG and sustainability strategies at corporate or asset portoflio level.
Charalampos is a LEED Fellow, a USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) Faculty, a former member of the global LEED Technical Advisory Group and USGBC Pro Reviewer, a LEED AP with the “Building Design + Construction”, “Interior Design + Construction”, “Operations + Maintenance”, “Homes” and “Neighborhood Development” specialties, a WELL AP, a BREEAM International New Construction Assessor, a BREEAM In-Use Assessor, an Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional, a DGNB Consultant, an EDGE Expert, a SmartScore AP and a WiredScore AP.
