Maria Akrivou is a graduate of the Department of Communication and Mass Media at the University of Athens. She began her career at the SBC television station as a news anchor and host of television programs focusing on economic content. Additionally, she has authored articles for newspapers and both online and print magazines, serving as an editor specializing in economic and tourism reporting. Also, she has hosted a radio show and previously collaborated externally with the National Statistical Service, participating in qualitative and quantitative research on Greek businesses.

Since October 2013, she has been contributing to the Greek edition (both in print and online) of the American business magazine Fortune Greece, all while covering developments in the business world through her YouTube channel “Think Big.”

Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Cultural Studies from the Department of Communication and Mass Media at the University of Athens, and she is proficient in English, Italian, and Spanish.
