Dr. Vladimír Beroun is a Czech-born government affairs and communications professional. He is managing EU policy strategy at Airbnb. He works with governments, cities and other stakeholders across Europe to harness the economic, environmental and social benefits of the sharing economy, digital technology and innovation. Initially, he led Airbnb’s government relations and stakeholder engagement in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), including Russia. Prior to Airbnb, he advised global tech companies on EU public affairs, partnership building and stakeholder engagement in Brussels, and held various positions in the public sector. Vladimír is passionate about technology, AI, data flows, tax policy and global affairs, and has received a PhD degree in EU-Asia trade relations.
