Cristina Salmena is an Italian-born government affairs and stakeholder engagement professional. She joined Airbnb as Public Policy Associate for Italy and Southern Europe. She works with governments, Parliaments, cities and other stakeholders across the Region to support Airbnb’s activities in fostering tourism and innovation locally. Prior to Airbnb, Cristina worked as a consultant for big tech companies and innovation-driven Italian companies for several years. She is passionate about technology, innovation, digital platforms, and politics.
